Happy Holidays!
This was not a song written as a hate speech against the military. Any country needs a military in order to not fall to some corrupt dictator. However, some countries have a rather unfair mandatory military service policy that has not improved since the country's inception and while many of them have exemptions for people who are disabled, they are often disregarded altogether and many disabled citizens wind up in the military despite their legal exemption. People fighting to stand up for their country is great, but when those who are unfit are dragged out of their otherwise busy lives, that is where further problems arise.
The context of the song in particular is about the fictional One Minute Winter's particular universe. Their bandleader and lead gutiarist, V "Sketch" laCroix, is/was a famous conscientious objector that had to dispute her draft (this was decades prior to the time period where the fictional universe is taking place) due to having wound up drafted despite her disabilities that make her legally exempt from the ongoing military conscription. In the hearing she won out and was told by the justices that she can go home safe without the marines bothering her anymore. They lied. She was taken hostage only an hour later and wound up in the same 22nd Marine Corps division that she was instructed to report to. Aside from the obvious fact that she is/was disabled, the military officials did not give her a choice on which branch of the military to join, which was a choice that all conscripts had the right to but she was singled out from, and this was another one of her counterarguments against her military draft, proving that the entire process was botched to begin with.
Back to the "present day" of the fictional universe she refuted the media's attempts to cover up the abduction, further mentioning that if she were not exempt from draft and the draft letter came properly she would have been in the Air Force instead. She would eventually land herself as a Colonel in the Air Force as a means to pay off her taxes, and she would slowly climb her way to being France's first active duty Marshal, just days before also being elected Prime Minister.

Cons have taken people
Out of their own steeples
Brainwashed them into a
mindless force of robots
End it, says the Navy
I have elsewhere to be
Cons and this Gov are both
Just the same, all mindless
They have plans for me but truth is
I have somewhere else to be
They won't let me free even though
I have somewhere else to be
Someone intervene please save me
I have somewhere else to be
From this decadal escape
Could've been in jail but
They have no plans to budge
Dragged into 22
Division, Marine Corps
Disabled, I'm exempt
No single dang given
Cons and this Gov are both
Just the same, all mindless
They have plans for me but truth is
I have somewhere else to be
They won't let me free even though
I have somewhere else to be
Someone intervene please save me
I have somewhere else to be
From this decadal escape
Clubs and militaries no one wanted to join
Beds and cemetaries we end up in
Forces of trechary no one wanted to join
Beds and cemetaries we end up in
Nothing personal to those who serve gladly but
If they ignore human rights, not for me
You know that
We know I don't belong
But soon I'm dead and gone
Cons and this Gov are both
Just the same, all mindless
They have plans for me but truth is
I have somewhere else to be
They won't let me free even though
I have somewhere else to be
Someone intervene please save me
I have somewhere else to be
From this decadal escape
Clubs and militaries no one wanted to join
Beds and cemetaries we end up in
Forces of trechary no one wanted to join
Beds and cemetaries we end up in
